at home with baby s.

The early days with a new baby feel like something you will always remember.  Feeding schedules, sleeping schedules…you know them by heart.  Gradually as your little one grows, the days evolve, and over time…you begin to forget.  What did my baby’s hands look like when I was feeding him?  What did she look at when I was holding her?  Many of the early moments inevitably become replaced by the numerous later memories.  Anyone that has children knows how quickly they grow and change.  And how over time we forget some of those precious tiny details of the early days.

My goal, when documenting the early days in a baby’s life, is to capture the details.  To slow things down and hit the pause button with my camera’s shutter.  To capture and keep these beautiful moments in time, for all time.

fun in the sun

These girls.  I’ve been photographing them for a few years now.  Just when I think we can’t possibly outdo the fun we’ve had together….we have a day like this.
